MOBILE, Ala. (AP) ? One crewmember died and rescuers were searching Wednesday for three others missing after a Coast Guard helicopter crashed in Alabama's Mobile Bay during a training mission, U.S. Coast Guard officials said.
Divers planned to return to the sunken wreckage after daylight Wednesday. Overnight fog had hampered searches from the air, Chief Petty Officer John Edwards said.
The MH-65C helicopter crashed Tuesday evening near Point Clear, Ala. One crewmember was found unresponsive and later declared dead, the Coast Guard said in a news release early Wednesday.
"Our main concern is locating the three remaining crewmembers," Bordelon told The Associated Press early Wednesday.
Edwards said fog was beginning to clear and visibility was improving. He said divers overnight had gone to the site of the helicopter, in about 13 feet of water, but were unable to gain access to its fuselage. He said they planned to try again Wednesday morning.
The aircraft had departed the Aviation Training Center in Mobile, Ala., on a training mission earlier Tuesday, Bordelon said. Coast Guard officials say it went down about two to three miles southwest of Point Clear. The three missing are all Coast Guard members.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the crewmembers during this difficult time," Capt. Don Rose, commanding officer of Coast Guard Sector Mobile, said in a statement.
The Coast Guard said two helicopters, an airplane and several vessels were involved in the search.
The missing crew members are "very well outfitted with survival gear wearing cold weather exposure suits," Rose told WALA-TV
"We're going to continue to search, were going to continue to go down," Rose said. "We know where the wreckage is so were going to look there as well."
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

PHOENIX (AP) ? His 50-game suspension and months of anxiety lifted from his shoulders, Ryan Braun carried only an equipment bag containing his bat and glove.
No speeches or suspicions on this day.
Braun took batting practice, shagged fly balls in the outfield and ran the bases like a little kid, relishing every second in the sun.
Back on the field. Back where he belonged.
"It was a lot of fun," Milwaukee's outfielder said Saturday following the Brewers' first full-squad workout this spring. "I had a lot of fun today, just being around my teammates and being on the baseball field and getting to play baseball was nice. It was a lot of fun."
One day after he vehemently defended his innocence and integrity in the aftermath of his suspension for a positive drug test being overturned by an arbitrator, Braun was finally able to put the turmoil behind him.
It was business as usual. It was baseball ? at last.
Following a morning meeting during which manager Ron Roenicke laid out his expectations for the defending NL Central champions, Braun headed out of the clubhouse and was greeted on the sidewalk by a large contingent of Milwaukee fans, who cheered and applauded.
"Atta boy, MVP," yelled one.
"Keep your head up," said another.
Braun smiled and said thanks as he passed inside metal barricades keeping the fans at a safe distance and walked toward a field adjacent to Maryvale Ballpark to get ready for the 2012 season, one he and the Brewers weren't sure would begin with him in the lineup.
Following the two-hour workout, Braun was mobbed for autographs. With two security guards asking the crowd to give him room, he spent 20 minutes talking with fans and signing as many bats, balls and photos as he could before jogging back inside to more applause.
When he got his locker, a member of Milwaukee's media relations staff informed reporters the 28-year-old would answer a few "questions only about baseball."
Braun said he was touched by the reception.
"It felt incredible and I truly appreciate everybody's support, and it's one of the biggest reasons why I've been able to make it through this challenging situation," he said. "That truly meant a lot to me. It was really cool."
While others may have their doubts whether Braun cheated or believe his claims that "this substance never entered my body at any point," Milwaukee fans have always been in his corner.
"I certainly appreciate people who support me when you deal with adversity," he said. "Like I said yesterday, when you go through something like this you see who truly supports you, you see who your friends are and you see how they truly feel about you. It definitely meant a lot to me."
There's no doubt the gravity of the suspension had weighed on Braun, who called it a "nightmare" when he stood near home plate Friday and defiantly declared himself "the victim of a (testing) process that completely broke down and failed."
Braun had learned on Oct. 19 that a urine sample he gave following an Oct. 1 playoff game showed a high level of testosterone. From the outset, he insisted he was innocent and Thursday his appeal was upheld by a three-member panel, making him the first major leaguer to win a drug-related penalty in a grievance.
He wants to move forward, and he took his first steps Saturday while wearing cleats.
"I'm sure he feels like a kid again," said right fielder Corey Hart. "The pressure is off. He can go out there and play with his friends. We're a big team here, but we're a bunch of friends. He's like he's at a schoolyard, just hanging out. It's fun. He hasn't been able to relax and to come out here today, you could tell he had a load off and was just able to hang out and have fun with it."
Braun was at ease around the batting cage. When Japanese rookie Norichika Aoki finished a round, Braun asked if he could see his new teammate's bat and the two shared a laugh despite not speaking the same language.
As the Brewers went through their first workout, owner Mark Attanasio stood near the foul line in the left-field corner and spoke about Braun's ordeal, which hovered over the organization all winter.
Attanasio always thought Braun would be cleared of any wrongdoing.
"Obviously, it wasn't a case of him simply calling me and saying on Thursday afternoon, 'Hey, I didn't do anything. See you in Maryvale,'" Attanasio said. "Statements about his character, I stand behind. I always believed Ryan would win his appeal."
Attanasio, who bought the Brewers in 2005 from Commissioner Bud Selig, was asked if it was difficult to be caught between backing his player while upholding Major League's Baseball's policies.
"It's easy to balance in this case because Ryan has got such a high character and is so demonstratively been an exemplary athlete on this team and member of the Milwaukee community," he said. "So, I'm a big Ryan Braun supporter which extends well beyond his simply being the MVP in the league. And at the same time, I'm the supporter of a strong drug testing program. I believe that MLB does have a strong drug testing program.
"The corollary to everything that we've been talking about is the MVP went through an extremely difficult offseason because MLB has a strong drug testing program and needs to have one. So, the balance is you support both."

Nine artists from east Shandong province will perform gruelling feats of physical prowess at the Kodak Theater, the acrobatic team's coach Zhou Yonghui told Xinhua.
The performers have earlier won honours at the 34th International Circus Festival in Monte Carlo in 2010.
Acrobats from Russia, France, Brazil and Ukraine are also scheduled to perform at the ceremony.
Yao Jianguo, head of the Shandong provincial acrobatic troupe, said Chinese acrobatics has been around for more than 2,000 years and puts an emphasis on agility and speed.

ATLANTA (AP) ? Home Depot Inc.'s fiscal fourth-quarter net income rose 32 percent as homeowners spent more on renovation projects and mild weather in the U.S. helped results surpass expectations.
Shares rose 3 percent in premarket trading.
Home-goods sellers like Home Depot and others are facing cautious consumer spending and prolonged weakness in the housing market. They've had to adjust to fewer consumers making large-scale home renovations by cutting costs and improving services such as online shopping and customer service.
But Home Depot's sales increase shows there may be some pent-up demand for home improvement, even during the winter.
"We had a strong finish to 2011, and with favorable weather, our business delivered results that exceeded our expectations," Chairman and CEO Frank Blake said in a statement.
The largest U.S. home-improvement company reported Tuesday that it earned $774 million, or 50 cents per share, for the period ended Jan. 29. That's up from $587 million, or 36 cents per share, a year earlier.
The earnings topped the 42 cents per share that analysts surveyed by FactSet expected.
Home Depot's stock added 20 cents to $46.91 in premarket trading
Quarterly revenue increased 6 percent to $16.01 billion from $15.13 billion, beating Wall Street's $15.5 billion estimate.
Revenue at stores open at least a year climbed 5.7 percent, with the figure rising 6.1 percent for U.S. stores.
This metric is a key gauge of a retailer's health because it excludes results from stores recently opened or closed.
Home Depot managed its costs well in the quarter, as cost of sales climbed slightly to $10.42 billion from $9.88 billion. Total operating expenses edged up to $4.27 billion from $4.21 billion.
For fiscal 2011, Home Depot's earnings increased 16 percent to $3.88 billion, or $2.47 per share, from $3.34 billion, or $2.10 per share, in the prior year.
Annual revenue rose 4 percent to $70.4 billion from $68 billion.
The Atlanta company projected fiscal 2012 earnings of about $2.79 per share, after expected stock buybacks. Revenue is anticipated to climb approximately 4 percent, implying $73.2 billion. The guidance accounts for 53 weeks in the fiscal year.
Analysts foresee earnings of $2.76 per share on revenue of $72.47 billion.

USP15 promotes tumor progression by activating the TGF? pathway. Playing a highly significant oncogenic role in glioblastoma, TGF? is a powerful immunosuppressant allowing the tumor to escape the host immune system. It also acts as an angiogenic factor inducing blood vessels, promotes tumoral invasion, activates cancer stem cells, and in some tumors, induces metastases.
USP15 as a "Biological Thermostat" at the core of a TGF? chain reaction
Dr. Seoane's team has unmasked the USP15 enzyme as activator of the TGF? chain reaction. In tumors the USP15-TGF? axis is deregulated due to USP15 gene amplification leading to an aberrant TGF? activation.
USP15 acts by controlling and correcting the TGF? activity in the same way that a thermostat regulates temperature. If the TGF? activity is high, it reduces; and if it is low, it increases the TGF? activity. USP15 therefore achieves optimal TGF? activity.
Protein stability is regulated through the elimination or aggregation of ubiquitins, small proteins that establish which molecules need to be eliminated. This process is finely regulated by deubiquitinating enzymes (DUBs) such as USP15 which determine the correct level of a protein under certain physiological conditions. In this orchestrated manner, USP15 controls and adapts the TGF? receptor stability and, therefore, the activity of the pathway.
The problem arises when, in some tumors, the USP15 gene is amplified due to genetic mutations and the enzyme is over produced. The thermostat breaks down and is therefore only sensing the "cold" resulting in the overactivation of the TGF? pathway. Remarkably, this is not only a phenomenum of glioblastomas since the USP15 gene has also been found activated in other types of cancer such as breast or ovarian cancer.
Dr. Joan Seoane explained "When we inhibited USP15 in a real model of human glioblastoma, TGF? activity decreased and the tumor did not develop. USP15 regulates tumor progression and is critical in cancer."
